The
story is set in a nightclub called ‘Extravaganza!’. Robin, a true
entertainer, lives and works there. In wonderful isolation. The club’s
walls provide a safe haven away from responsibilities, risks and
dangers. Between shows, he lives off his popularity, in a kind of
virtual reality. His only communication with the outside world is
through the virtual reality, his drugs. Surfing the virtual reality,
Robin plunges into a new dimension of visual simulation, losing himself
and his real identity. ‘Extravaganza!’ is a metaphor. Robin doesn’t want
to grow up. And doesn’t need to. But his friends try to rescue him from
his oblivion.
